Come to the Belleayre Mountain Fall Festival and Craft Fair (October 6-7) to see over 100 crafts vendors, a kid's crafts tent, a fishing pond, live music and much more. Weather permitting, the Sky Ride will take you to the summit of Belleayre Mountain, where the majesty of autumn color can be enjoyed.

Stone Tavern Farm is a 350-acre horse farm with a B&B, a summer camp for kids, trail rides, horse-riding lessons, and an overnight trail ride and camping combo.

At the Hunter Mountain Oktoberfest (September 29-30; October 6-7) you'll see Austrian and German-American bands, Schuhplattler dancers and loads of kid's activities.

Kaaterskill Falls are one of America's oldest tourist attractions. Beginning with Thomas Cole's first visit in 1825, they became an iconic subject for painters of the Hudson River School, setting the wilderness ideal for American landscape painting.

The Catskill Scenic Trail lies on top of the former rail bed of the Ulster & Delaware Railroad. A 19-mile "Rails to Trails" project, it offers a hard-packed surface perfect for hiking, biking, horseback riding and cross-country skiing.

Come to the Apple Pond Farm & Renewable Energy Education Center to experience a working organic farm. The Thomas Cole National Historic Site is located at the former home of Thomas Cole, founder of the Hudson River School of painting. Experience his inspiration for yourself when you take the tour and see the spectacular views from the porch of the Main House.

The Catskill Fly Fishing Center & Museum is an award-winning museum and education center located on 55 pristine acres along the famed Willowemoc Creek.
